....The "Gift of Life"....

Are you considering living kidney donation?

Hi, this is Greg Goodman. I registered to be a living donor for my wife, Susan. I started the process by calling Mayo Clinics transplant center directly at 480-342-1010. I spoke with a transplant nurse who directed me to their online registration form and health questionnaire. Which I promptly filled out. I got an email back telling me they would be in touch with me by phone after they reviewed my information. About two weeks later I got a call from two of Mayo’s transplant nurses. I was excited for the next step in the process and was looking forward to it. However, it didn’t pan out. I was informed because of a health issue I would not be going any farther in the donation process, Bummer.

Are you in good health and considering giving somebody the gift of life? I would really appreciate it if you would consider donating to Susan. I know that’s a big big ask but there is no other way to do it. I understand why people are hesitant to donate. It’s just so hard to watch her going through ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease.) I tried to give her one of my kidneys but they wouldn’t let me.

You can start the process immediately just by clicking the “GIFT of LIFE” button in the heart below. It will take you directly to Mayo Clinic Arizona Living donor registration and health questionnaire page. When they ask the question if you have someone you would like to donate to please put down Susan Goodman. Susan’s date of birth is 03-10-1960.

Thank You So Much,
Greg Goodman
